Kanha National Park

This wonderful national park is situated in Madhya Pradesh a state of Maharashtra. It is located at the height of 600 to 900 meters above sea level. The area which it covered is around 1,945 sq km. Kanha National park was the soul motivation for famous classic Jungle Book of Rudyard Kipling. The beautiful environment of this national park has not faded over the time; it still attracts many people every year.


If you are going to visit central India, then visiting to this national park would be a good choice, you can surely add Kanha National Park in your travelling list. Kanha National park has a wide diversity of wildlife. It is well known Kanha Tiger Reserve.

It was created in the year of 1955 for the preservation a variety of animal species which reside in this region. Many rare and endangered species have been saved due to creation of this National Park.



Today Kanha National park is one of the most beautiful and scenic National park situated in India as well as in Asia. It has been given a title of 'Tiger Country', as it is a perfect home for both predator and prey.

The beautiful open and grassy meadows attracts the attentions of many visitor, where the swamp deer, chital, black buck and sambhar, are common to see around. There are many tiger reserves in India, but you can’t encounter this ferocious beast as often as in Kanha National Park. You would have seen this ferocious beast in zoos and circuses but here at Kanha National Park, you will encounter an tiger in his natural habitat roaming freely in the forest and fields.


Best time to visit Kanha National Park
Best time to visit this National park is during January to April as the most of the animals moves to open areas near water bodies. The temperature is around 23°C to 40°C in summer and during winter the temperature is around 23°C to 11°C which are much more pleasant compare to summer season. Generally all the national parks are closed from July to mid October due to rainy season.

The Most Visited Spiritual Place In Maharashtra - "Shirdi Sai Baba Temple".

As the mention title, i really amazed with the total number of visitors make visit to the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. If i talked about the visitors then we all come to know that, on daily basis around 20,000 devotees from all around the Maharashtra State as well from other country visited Sai Baba Temple for the blessings of Sai Baba. Above number of devotees are on daily basis but when you talked about the vacations and the weekends the figures certainly goes to double or some times it goes three times of daily devotees.




Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is located in Ahmadnagar district. This temple is constructed at the place of Sai Baba's Samadhi. It is a small town with very less population. Shirdi Sai Temple is all time equipped with
