Goa is the perfect holiday destination for the for all age group of  people which includes newly married couples, group of friends, tourist / travelers and group of families. All are visits Goa state for full enjoyment by forgetting all their tensions and all other daily work.

When we talk about the Goa, then we came to know that Goa is the smallest state with high income rate. It is one of the less population state with high literacy. Goa is famous for its mind blowing atmosphere surrounded with several beaches, temples, churches, Mosques, Restaurants and several Hotels in Goa to enjoy the spicy and delicious food.

Here I am providing an Information about the Churches In Goa those are very famous and must watch Churches. The list with small description about the Churches are as follows :-

Basilica of BomJesus Church, Old Goa
This Church is located in Old Goa. "Bom Jesus" is states as "Infant Jesus" or "Good Jesus". It is famous for its architecture which done in Portugal pattern. When you entered in the Basilica, you will see stunning display of architectural pieces in wood, stone, gold and granite. Apart from this there are plenty of surprises.


Chapel and Tomb of St. Francis Xavier
It is the most visited and historical Church in Goa. It is the only Church were authority people set the fixed visiting ours to avoid the overcrowd. It is inside this chapel that one will come across the silver casket that houses the immortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. If you count, there are 7 panels on the casket, each of which has got 2 plates, one over the other which are carved with important scenes from the life of St. Francis  Xavier. 

Our Lady Of Grace Church, Margao
Situated in the heart of Margao city, this former military chapel was once named "Capela de Batalhao". Not to worry, this modern Church as it stands today looks as appealing and serene as ever. There is even a hospital named after the Church and its patron. The feast of this Church is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of Feb. However no fair accompanies this feast day.



Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Old Goa
If you fancy ancient workmanship, then you will be definitely in full praise of the 17th century pieces of religious art. There is a beautiful octagonal tabernacle in the middle of the which is richly decorated in an ornate style.

Many Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim
If your answer is yes, then this is one Church you need to visit at night. Well, come over and take a look and we guarantee that you will be instantly floored by this Church. As soon as evening sets in, this huge monument is transformed into a glowing specter. The best time to visit this Church would perhaps be during the Feasts. 
St. Jerome Church, Mapusa.
The main altar of this 407 year old Church is dedicated to Our Lady Of Miracles whose feast day is celebrated on 2nd Monday after Easter. Our Lady is greatly venerated by both Hindus and Christians.
